I’ve been trying my hand at putting more emphasis on the hair. The blunt bangs on this model offered the chance to try out a sheen for where the light would hit her. I think the thing with watercolour is leaving light and white to really add emphasis, and I need to try this out a little more. I also like the look of the gold rings on the fingers, but seriously would that not drive you nuts trying to get through the day?
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, I have a crazy busy Saturday lined up – breakfast with an old friend, a baby shower, and then cheering my husband on for the Underwear Affair (he’s running 10K for cancers below the waist!) But I do plan to lock myself into the study bright and early Sunday morning for some time to get my serious paint on…
