I handed them over to the organizers this morning. They kind of look like Charlie’s Angels or something, don’t they? I have no idea if they’ll be sent off as a set of three, or as individual images. I feel like a proud parent.
SO if you live in Calgary, my lovely ladies will be on display at the Epcor Centre in the main building from August 9th to the 18th before being distributed at random to the public. I’m still a little unclear on the distribution procedure but will be sure to keep you all updated as it gets closer.
I had a request last week to talk about which blogs I’ve been getting inspiration from since I started painting regularly back in February. On my quick list of favourites and in no particular order, here are a few:
Mostly I just start on one site and end up randomly clicking to other sites in the process. How was I so oblivious to the internet, seriously? Other huge inspirations have come from the fashion illustrators I’ve been stumbling across since I got started too.
