Happy first day of Stampede! I can’t lie, I have had the Kid Rock song Cowboy in my head the last half hour or so that I’ve been working on getting this post ready. Are you ready for the next ten days of country music, tight jeans, big belt buckles and sore feet from cowboy boots? Not to mention the chance to drink, eat free pancakes and fall into a two-step or line dance no matter where in the city you happen to be. I am hoping for my first chance to finally see the Grandstand show and take in the chuck wagon races. It’s supposed to be a hot one this next week, so grab your gear and get out there.
