blue suede shoes

I love a good pop of colour in an otherwise black on grey on black ensemble.  This could be me.  As an aside, I am in terrible boot shape right now.  My favourite brown boots that I was given as a birthday present back in the fall have split in the zipper due to my monstrous capoeira calves.  Then Saturday I was dismayed to learn that my two backups – yes, two – have holes in the soles.  I was walking around 17th ave trying to look hipster complicated because we were outside an out the door line up to Analog coffee house — and there I was with my feet freezing and soaked.  FYI I looked totally complicated – but really it was just cold.  *nailed it
