I believe to be an artist is to have that gift of vision inside of you. My own story began with years of accumulating art supplies with a fear of using them, lest the final outcome be anything less than perfect. I’ve learned to embrace the concept of ‘make messy’ – leaving perfection to the side in exchange for energy, vibrance and fun. In teaching watercolor classes, I seek to offer you the same chance to set aside your own expectations and simply absorb yourself in the process of creating. Excellence I think is born from falling in love with the process and seeing what happens.
